According to the cell theory developed by Matthias Jakob Schleiden and Theodor Schwann in 1893, all organisms such as humans, animals and plants are composed of one or more cells. As such, cells are the fundamental to any living organisms yet invisible to our naked eyes. More than often, human are oblivion to the structures and how they actually looked like.

In this project, it aims to bring attention to the viewer the existence of these tiny little cells that are around us for millionsĀ of years. It also brings out the beauty of these tiny little cells as we explore on the different visual looks that they have under the microscope. The motifs are recreated via special technique resembling the look of some existing cells.
